a faithful reader has contacted this writer with valuable…informative reasons… as to why the Dems went with the 1/2 vote penalty….Saturday…
in previous post…The Lemieux Report…BC comment…for 1 vote per voter/delegate….
offering up the following points…. “playing by the rules”….and the “chaos” that would arise in the next election’s primaries…if there were no “consequences” this time….
the fairness of the current process…to allow for primaries to take place in smaller states….and the fairness that it lends to lesser-known candidates running for office.
The Republican delegates from Florida knew the penalty ahead of the state primary… and will attend their convention with only half of the state delegate members ….each with 1 full vote…..along with Michigan…
BCbythesea will take the time to further delve into whether the comment deserves some tweaking upon further information gathering….to see if …as in the past …this writer is in full or partial agreement with this learned faithful reader…
