TD Bankworth is buying Commerce Bank in a 7.7 billion dollar deal….
LBTS residents may remember it was Commerce Bank that wanted to build their “depot” looking structure on the corner of A1A and Commercial…in place of the gas station..
I recall the ex- head of Development who asked who would want to keep a gas station on that corner…incredulously everyone there said us!
It brought out many to object that day…including our new Commissioner Clottey!
Guess another one bites the dust….any news heard lately about the church and financially fragile Starbucks?

mandatory training for all condo association directors…local law enforcement association fraud investigation units….increased budget for business/regulation/state condo ombudsman…barring condo/homeowner associations with more than 100 thousand in excess revenues frm waiving outside review of their books for more than 2 years…requiring state officials to subpoena records of associations that fail to let two separate owners see them on two separate occasions….
