after a year since voters gave their mayor broad new power…. the commission was against a strong mayor …but for right now … the commissioner has no backing…. those opposed …citing it was too soon to reopen the debate…for the citizens…
a workshop was held….to change the charter… a special task force….. wanted to recommend paying commissioners using the population- based formula adopted by all other Florida counties…and term limits..which the commissioner object to….
so what is the formula of a population of approximately 7 thousand?…..

Mineralogist who acquired the Hope Diamond for the Smithsonian Museum….in the 70’s he also played a central role in helping the museum get a grant from NASA for a probe micro- analyzer…he and other mineralogists examined samples from Apollo 15 & 16 finding that the moon never had water on its surface and never has atmosphere like earth’s.
