This Legislature session Secretary Tom Pelham – Florida Dept. of Community Affairs proposed a “Citizens Bill of Rights” an attempt to increase local involvement and input in land- use decisions that would reduce the number of times local govermnments can petition the state for land use changes and would eliminate last minute changes to such proposals.
