TO THE SENTINEL REPORTER….COME BACK SOON…
Looks like the Sentinel reporter who covers LBTS is busy with Commission members acting badly in Deerfield Beach….
We could use some reporting of what’s going on in our little town….especially with the return of the instigator…investigator…reeking havoc so soon after hitting the ground …at Port Everglades…
While a positive e-mail was sent …in regard to his VFD duties…and a palm frond sparking about…he was a mass of fury…upon entering this writer’s building and bending the ear of my Manager…after the posts made yesterday….on this site concerning the VFD and the Town…
Yesterday the Manager relayed to me her continued inability to get any answers for an alarm final needed for our building from the VFD and the Town…….and I offered…ala past such situations….( in old days of McIntee being the go- to guy I would call upon)….to contact a commissioner…and did…Commissioner Dodd….who provided a quick response…and some much needed information to move us forward…….although it should not have taken an intervention to receive it…..
The Vice Mayor…. I was told today…swooped in here yesterday…and gave quite an earful about this taxpaying…building resident to the Manager…who said “it went in one ear and out the other”….more of the same …poor woman…more of the same….it was just your turn…so sorry!…
More unsettling than this giant act of Mc-nerve…was the response I received before she even informed me of his uninvited visit…
My initial inquiry with this call was to reconfirm that she finally had some answers…
Surprisingly….she responded that she was once again “getting mixed messages.”….
“Why” I asked…
Only to hear that the instructions received yesterday by Commissioner Dodd from Assistant Town Manager Olinzock for our alarm company representative whom to contact at the Broward County Building Department in order to finalize the permit… (required to be in place before the Town Fire Marshall could come)……”probably wouldn’t help us out”……according to the Vice Mayor WHAT?….mixed messages indeed!…
I could not believe it…she then said…. as quickly as he swooped in…he swooped out to respond to a fire call….(we hear it was a med call for someone “puking”)…How many FF went on that call?….
AN UPDATE……. the “Mc-fixer” returned today……but the results whatever they may be do not wipe away the uncalled for process in getting there…..this really is Mc-town…YIKES…
So you see…Sun Sentinel reporter…when you finish up in Deerfield Beach…we too have Commission members acting badly here in LBTS …please….come back soon…

We hear a Public records request was made by yet another Sentinel reporter last month for Commission member travel expenses since Jan.2007……HMMM….
