NO ANNUAL MEMORIAL DAY BEACH BASH……..THANKS …Mc-GANG OF  3……

Well they did it …the Aruba Beach Cafe’ threw in the the towel and struck the first major blow to the town ..cancelling their annual Beach Bash..

This is the result of the recent actions of the the Gang of 3 and the Town Administration….. ….

What a shame…and what a loss …

Kudos to Aruba  ….for standing up to this strongarming trio…and  their co-hort Adminisrtators…

Hopefully this  drastic action will bring these elected officials to their senses!….

‘Due to matters beyond our control, the management of Aruba Beach Café sadly informs all those concerned the annual Memorial Day Beach Bash will not take place outside this year. Because of the increased cost of this one time event and possible issues regarding amount of people, noise ordinances, sea turtles regulations and by the very nature of an outdoor event, it is not possible to adequately plan to be able to adhere to all the rules and other regulations associated with this type of event. Not to mention the amount of hard work and the risk of meeting our cost associated it is not feasible for us to continue for this year.We will have an indoor event which will include the normal Friday night pig roast festivities.
We hope to see you there!’

IF THE NEW MAJORITY HAS ITS WAY….

We hear that Aruba Beach Cafe may just throw in the towel on their annual Memorial Day Beach Bash!…

Not confirmed yet…but Readers are telling this writer those in charge of the event from Aruba are sick of the new Mc-Gang of 3 and their strongarming…the noise ordinance…the head count of people attending street events…and the idea of imposing a “payola” …to stick it to the businesses downtown…along with saying no events on July 4th…allowing no more 2- day events…and on and on and on…

Not having the annual Memorial Day Beach Bash  would certainly strike the first blow…and put a big dent into the weekend plans of residents and tourists…who will suffer right along with the businesses…WOW!…

Vice Mayor McIntee…BFF “Jimmy Boy”  Silverstone and Comm. “Clueless” Clottey would  be right up there with   “MOB” bagmen if they carry out this “stipend” plan of taking money from the restaurants and bars to put in a “lockbox” for Town events…and imposing on them the need to come and tell “Godfather ” McIntee if business  is good or bad!…Yep,  McIntee on the dais at the 4/29/09 Commission meeting actually told Dave Gadsby if times are good you pay and if times are tough come to me and we’ll work it out…Seems McIntee just outdid the “briber” he says tried to bribe him with $100 a few years back!… Maybe this is how it was done in Buffalo?……

At that same meeting Comm. Silverstone said “the past few days have been Hell”…..Imagine Hell just got hotter if this cancellation pans out and Aruba Beach Cafe’ follows through with no event!….

Readers should be making their Commissioners aware of where they stand on these issues…and telling them to stop the Mob mentality…stop the vendetta…stop the ordinances…the fees and the permits…and do their jobs…representing the will of ALL the people not their own interests and the CIC!…

We see the pavilion is now painted yellow…painting over the siding…many longtime beach residents say painting siding is a no-no… time will tell….

Benches are in…at the pavilion…seating for 12 we hear (have not eyed it myself)…Who chose the seating…we heard it was to come in front of the Commission…another independent decision made by the Town Manager?…YIKES!
