We heard today that yesterday Finance Director Kaola King resigned … We have also heard that next Tuesday’s 6pm Budget Meeting will most likely be canceled upon the request of Int. Town Manager Hoffmann due not only to King’s departure but a whole lot of work that did not get done in the Finance Dept in preparation for that meeting…WOW!…. Not to worry though … Ms. Hoffmann and Int. Asst. Bud Bentley will make sure to find a replacement that can meet the standards required for the Finance Director position… After all, Ms. Hoffmann was a Finance Director herself and has been very forthcoming on the dais in spelling out how truly antiquated our Town’s Finance Dept. was and is ….under the former Finance Director/Town Manager and her hires… (prev. posts)…

For some reason former Commissioner Marc Furth wants to “Bite” the “hand ” of the Town Commission …by keeping the Coral Reef Project buoy paid for by the LBTS taxpayers parked on his motel property… Hmmm…. Is he being stubborn …or trying really hard to find something…anything to rile up the stagnant and disintegrating CIC “troops”… at their meeting tonight ?…..
