‘The Goddess of Litter’s benign face sat in repose, overseeing the Museum of Litter kiosk of artists Sharon Huff and Gary Martorelli.
The blue-hued painting was adorned with a sketched face and precisely placed refuse, including a KFC bucket, foam packing, netting, a balloon ribbon and plastic.
The kiosk was one of about 30 at Shades of Green, a free eco-themed family festival hosted by the Greater Dania Beach Chamber of Commerce on April 4. It featured organic refreshments, live entertainment and environmentally friendly vendors in the city’s downtown area.’
