They came into town……all these families………all these children….from every direction….they came in strollers….holding their parent’s hand…….with wide-eyed anticipation …to experience….a fantastic Furth inspired Fright Night….that everyone …..friend and foe….agreed…..was first rate….a Halloween Home run!

First encounter…an amazing monstrous maze…. in Municipal Park… local businesses…residents…organizations….public safety providers…. handing out plenty of candy…bringing squeals of delight from happy trick or treaters….holding their ever expanding bags…as they made their way through table after table….so many they lost count….

Their journey to the Haunted House …. was filled with flashing lights…from firetrucks…lined up along the way….

Inside the hall…the party began…with face painting…cookies…popcorn…and games….so much to see…the little ones were spinning around….non stop….totally in awe….

The hall was filled to capacity…and the line to the Haunted House told the story…of what was really the main event….and from those who were in line for a second or third time…it did not disappoint!…

The costume judging was the finale…….with the families fading fast….after two terrific hours…full of tricks…full of treats…full of frights….they descended  back out into the night!…
