HAVE YOU SEEN THESE SIGNS …..
Dear Readers ….You know when there is trouble in a campaign when one side starts wreaking havoc late at night (after siesta) and stealing signs…throwing signs into bushes …as happened last night …on the very day that the Furth-endorsed candidates Comm. Jim Silverstone and Joe Couriel signs made their way onto some lawns…in the Right of Ways in town… Missing signs…call BSO at 954-776-4321 and report it!…ASAP!….We hear the BSO is stepping up their patrol after last night’s marauders…Stop the Vigilante Midnight Tour Gang!…..
……………………………………………..
The signs for Silverstone and Couriel are now appearing and the responses are quite amusing…They look way too busy… “Is Silverstone crooked?”…when looking at his name on the sign…The comments going around the town for the Silverstone slogan “For the love of the Town”…with a heart for the o in Town…bringing forth a litany of “For the love of the Town”…Jim Silverstone voted for a contract that pays out the Town Manager over $250,000 if terminated…”For the love of the Town” …Jim Silverstone chose to back the Town Manager in terminating BSO Chief Scott Gooding…”For the love of the Town”…Jim Silverstone voted to buy a motel for $2 million dollars….”For the love of the Town”….Jim Silverstone lost over $300,00 in pre-penalty clause due to the Town Manager getting a pre-penalty clause and keeping the monies too long….”For the love of the Town”….Jim Silverstone voted not to have bank statements and RFPs included in the monthly backups for commissioners….”For the love of the Town”…Jim Silverstone voted for spending $980,000 for median walkways in El Mar Drive….”For the love of the Town”….Jim Silverstone voted to make his BFF McIntee Dep Fire Chief against the VFD By-laws…and then Fire Chief of the VFD….”For the love of the Town”…Jim Silverstone registered agent of the VFD has seen to it the VFD is not properly designated to allow supporters to deduct donations made to the VFD from their taxes… .”For the love of the Town” …. Jim Silverstone voted for $56,000 to pave his running mate Joe Couriel’s street …..”For the love of the Town”….Jim Silverstone went after town businesses for a noise ordinance…..”For the love of the Town” ….Jim Silverstone fully backs the Town Manager in her actions toward shutting down Village Grille’s Jazz on the Square for months…and fully backs the Town Manager in her actions of causing chaos at the Senior Center and her efforts to get rid of the Director….”For the love of the Town” ….Jim Silverstone went into a Shade session when VFD were suing the Town while spearheading the lawsuit brought to the Town….”For the love of the Town” ….Jim Silverstone …has voted on items that he has conflict of interest in…properties that he does the Pension planning for…and downtown businesses that affect his Fiances’ business…..”For the love of the Town” ….Jim Silverstone tried to get a variance and not obey the Town’s code for fencing height on his own property….”For the love of the Town” ….Jim Silvertone should not be re-elected!…
Mayoral candidate Joe Couriel who believes “McIntee is God”….wants to bring business to the Downtown?..What a hoot at a major cost to those businesses …Joe Couriel fully supports the McIntee-Furth -Silverstone -Colon line of governing….stick it to the businesses ….charge for using public streets… He fully supported the termination of Scott Gooding…Is fully supportive of Town Manager Colon’s contract and as for Joe’s taxes this year on his home…the home with the Silverstone-McIntee-Clottey the $56,000 new paved street out in front…they went up!… (So did his Dist. 1 running mate M.I.A. Marjorie Evans )… Joe wants to show leadership on the dais and control the meetings…Joe sits on the Board Of Adjustment…This writer wondered why the BOA was canceled month after month and now I know…so no one would actually see Joe Couriel sitting on the dais!…He was so miserably poor and offensive on the BOA that he made outgoing VM McIntee look like pro when McIntee took the gavel from Mayor Minnet (and we all know how lousy McIntee was at those times)…. Joe Couriel has been thrown out of town hall meetings…Joe Couriel is still walking and talking up his “God”McIntee…wanting to continue on the McIntee legacy… Joe Couriel has “Hero” worship of McIntee…calling McIntee a “lion”… Joe Couriel… “For the love of God”…and the “for the love of the Town”…should not be on any dais, much less the commission dais anywhere in town!…

THERE WILL BE SKYSCRAPERS IF THE FURTHS DO NOT HAVE THE MAJORITY….SO SAY SILVERSTONE-COURIEL-M.I.A. EVANS ….DOOR TO DOOR…
We hear the Furth endorsed candidates are going door to door along with their minions and spouting the same old stuff this writer dredged up in past elections…scare tactics…if you do not vote for the Furth endorsed candidates…heights will go up…condos will be 15 stories and LBTS will be a Galt Ocean Mile!… FURTH FEARMONGERING AT IT’S FURTH FINEST!…
Candidates Scot Sasser and Chris Vincent will be going door to door with the facts…the printout below from the Town website’s muni-code that states NO ONE CAN RAISE THE HEIGHT LIMIT IN LBTS WITHOUT THE VOTE OF THE PEOPLE!… Take one, copy it and pass it on to your friends and your neighbors…and tell them this year…in 2010…no Furth Fearmongering will be allowed…just the facts…and the record…the FACTUAL record….from 3 fine candidates Minnet-Sasser-Vincent ….who are running to continue to make LBTS the same small quaint seaside village town they chose to raise their families in!….
