ON THE HOME FRONT…
Making our way to Chicago yesterday to visit the BCbythesea daughter…passed by our security personnel at the front desk….”Don’t worry..they said …the Keystone cops aren’t here!”….referring to the VFD training exercise that took place the evening before…previous post…
They said they were informed this training exercise would be a thorough procedural event…including time spent going over the floor plans….exits etc…with management…it was not…
Look this writer is pro VFD…as long as it is the “new” VFD we were sold on…with the certified leaders we thought were going to be in charge…no matter what the State requirements are….
My contention with the Vice Mayor…on this front and in other Town matters…is he cuts corners…in my opinion…and plays hard and fast with the rules…in my opinion…and he is a bully who threatens and manipulates all those around him…in my experience!….
I hear he and/or his wife may be behind the still to come SLAP bcbythesea site…so be it…I just want readers who may decide to take a look at both to realize a huge difference…on this site …this writer posts about his professional services…his elected duties….how he handles both….not his personal life or family…nor do I include any sick innuendo as many are aware he and his wife and their pals have done on the Topix blog ..
In fact there have been numerous times when certain “sources” have put forth info on children…and other family members….all has been a “NO GO”…due to a personal sense of responsibility…that children and family….are off limits…and finally…my opinions….my views…have a name behind them…for readers to agree with or be angry at…this new site …if it does come to light…must have the same or it will only be an extension of what has been done before to those that cast a light…doubts…and question this group’s actions…by way of the well known “investigations”…(Sausage series)…and the Sentinel blog…..which curiously stops linking to this site when certain people are out of town….HMMMM….
AT THE AIRPORT…
Light on travelers….heavy on politics….no matter where you sit…you will see this presidential race is not a “done deal” by any means…it is equally divided….and the Ft. Lauderdale Airport…”poll” is probably just as “scientific” as the media driven “polls”…
At the restaurant…two people sitting across from each other behind us as Lou Dobbs was on CNN above…going after Sarah Palin…the usual sound bites…from those set on Obama…”she stupid…he didn’t spend enough time vetting her.”..and the especially vocal gentleman…pronounced how he would do his research…he would have spent more time getting a puppy from the pound…and so on…
Finally he finished…was ready to leave…and handed over his credit card….declined……he paid and and made a beeline out of there…HMMMM…
Next seated by the gate…behind me..two women …obviously close in every way…but there views on the candidates…it went back and forth…more sound bites…Iran…sitting down with no pre- conditions…the past…Bush…the future…big government….it ended in a draw…and a visit to the ladies room…to be continued…
As we landed…phones allowed back on…checks of calls…and any new news…as we waited to de-board…the Palin Troopergate headline was the topic…and the “knowing” responses could be seen…with head shakes or nods…going down the aisle…it was split…she was guilty…she was had…
This election…is too close to call…
I COULD HAVE OVERLOOKED THE EVOLUTION THING…(just kidding)
Mike Huckabee…I wish it was Mike Huckabee…going head to head with Obama ….if we are now talking the economy……a global economy…no matter his view on evolution….it would really make the last debate something to watch….
He was the only one who said…no bail out…and he was the only one who “noticed” and is speaking about the the “nationalized” and global government response we are seeing…this very day …as the countries meet …to discuss globalization of the financial institutions…
He is the only one who is calling it…on the “savior” Buffet…and the “bottom feeders” waiting to pounce after the government is done…no difference between them…and the a look back to the elite global alliance that might be at work….
A much larger version of the after hours market that has done the little guy in for some time now…taking away the even playing field…
