With friends like these……
“Guttersnipes”….who needs enemies…certainly not Comm. Clottey…the last remaining newly elected LBTS official left of the Mc-Gang just shy of the 1 year January 29, 2008 LBTS election anniversary…….
On the Notorious Mc-“Slap” site …the Mc-Writers write posts about the Commissioner when she parts ways with their wishes….acts independently…or agrees with this writer…Even though it was these “friends” who enlisted Ms. Clottey to run for Office…..put her through the ringer in the campaign…tried to make her step aside when they felt someone else as a candidate suited their fancy……thus far have been unsuccessful in efforts to warn her to walk away from this writer’s friendship and pointedly told not to “pull a Stu Dodd”by leaving the CIC or them…ever……….all to no avail…..because as she stays true to herself…as she was during the campaign…as she still is almost one year after her victory……much to her credit….and much to their disdain…..
Shamefully her “friends” and former “campaign co-chair/ team member”……the new owners of the Mc-Furth BTSTimes…choose to advertise the very site that would include such “Guttersnipe” aimed at the Commissioner…imagine that…how do you justify such actions…HMMM….Perhaps money over friendship …or full ” Guttersnipe” participation ….rule the day?….
Commissioner Clottey…. this week made the unfortunate mistake to check out the tail end of the scurrilous site…to see what was being written …on a whim….
The Commissioner has been advised friend to friend ….to refrain from such whims……then asked the very questions stated above…but it is hoped this foray finally opened up her eyes …..because there is no doubt who this “Guttersnipe” poster had to be….no doubt…due to timing…and who would be privy to the information revealed….no doubt..no doubt….no doubt….
You see the difference is this…on a site where you print your name…you are held accountable…and a real friend can disagree with a friend that is a Commissioner….leaving it civilized…open and honest…agreeing to disagree…all the time remaining friends…something …anonymous “Guttersnipe” cannot even fathom….
Will the Furth’s continue to publish the “slap’ site ad…in their end of the month sole edition or take a stand ….apologize to their “friend” Commissioner Clottey and say no to anymore anonymous ads?…
