Elections for the CIC Board will be coming up in the next few months and I have given the board my notice that I will not be running again and do not wish to be nominated.
It has been an honor and a privilege to serve as Vice Chair.
There are many reasons for my decision…..most important though is to have the unfettered ability to write on my website and remain independent.
As my disclaimer states, all opinions on my site are my own and are not representative of any group or organization. Perhaps a return to being just a member, (as over 200 fellow LBTS residents are) will further guarantee the appearance of no conflict as I continue on.
I encourage all those members (for 6 months or longer) who are interested to step up to the plate….. self nominate and nominate others, in order to bring fresh faces to the board, bringing forth enthusiasm and new ideas!
Then you too can feel the honor and the privilege of serving the largest civic organization in LBTS.
