Jonathan…Landscape Foreman…the plant “hospital” is being utilized to grow more of our own plants from cuttings…will save money…plants for B pool area are being ordered ….dog walk ..cleaned up ….
Jonathan and a board member walked the grounds with Diana Guidry from the Broward County Naturescape getting some recommendations on “rooftop” gardens…which we are classified under for being over the garages…including certain water systems testing done for free to identify leaks…from Broward County…with no ramifications if problems are found…such as code violations….it is confidential…

Still dealing with the amended appraisals and Citizens…specifically the date to refund back to..for Buildings A & B……Jan 1st as was used for building C…but they were completed with their shutter/window requirements before June…and hurricane season…
The air conditioners…and the new condo laws…the unit air conditioners are now part of the associations responsibility to replace only in a catastrophic circumstance…not for any normal maintenance..or service.
Building Manager B was inquiring with our insurance reps about CNA VS QBE…due to several items of coverage that are in a CNA policy…and not QBE…see previous posts on QBE…SRC category…
Our rep may have dropped the ball with Citizens…leading to some of our appraisal and refund problems…
There was discussion over maintenance personnel…we are down to 1 with Benny leaving…the plan as of now is to fill the job from within the staff …moving a pool employee with much knowledge over to the maintenance department …
LED lighting was not discussed as planned a few weeks back by new Building B Manager Callahan…and will be brought up at the budget meeting…
The signs will also be included at that time…as well as discussion on a committee being put together to deal with remodeling the cabanas next year…
Comcast watch…still no contract delivered…

C tennis court is back to being finished …hopefully this week…
Bids for cabanas…pool resurfacing…pumps…are proceeding slowly due to companies being slow or not wanting to bid.. future discussion on required bids…and approval amount without full board to come at full board meeting…
Low ball price for Diamond Bright…done at condo north of our complex…the phone is disconnected!…
Garage gate need to be replaced in Building A…1st bid…$2850/steel door next to lower garage door…1st bid…$3250…
Planter ..prices…need to be itemized….for work done to break up planters…put in retaining wall to separate planter from building…
A resident came to talk about the new no age discrimination rule for the pools…and was informed of the state laws…and the 23 page legal response SRC was in receipt of that led to the decision to rescind the old rules and delete them from the pool rules signs…
