Association Areas Executive committee meeting 9 am

As of Monday…we are now in- house for Landscaping….unfortunately the windy weather is not the only crimp in this new venture…one employee has not shown up…leaving Area Foreman Jerry with 2.

If the hired employee… who went through the required background/drug testing does not show by Friday…a new applicant will start the process.

Rain delays are still problematic for several projects…as well as still waiting for parts on others….

The Ocean Room shutters are all finished and passed inspection….while attending the meeting…the new hurricane doors need a call back for a 6th time due to opening each time the other doors were opened across the room in this wind…most unsettling!

Much discussion about the ongoing problems of gas grills…broken parts, salt air..cost involved…as compared to the old fashioned charcoal ones that have been used for so long.

Comcast consultant came…in negotiations…can not post info …any questions… please contact your building’s Board member or Manager…

Next Wednesday morning the full Board will meet to decide what to go with as far as plans offered…

Villa finished as our landscapers on Friday, but Jerry informed us that they should have monies owed deducted due to 11-12 days of sending us 2 less workers than required…at a cost each of 115 dollars a day.

Big brouhaha… incidents at the pools…

pool rules…towels on chairs…saving choice seats….reserving chairs….moving towels….babies under 3 in the pools…rude guests and residents…a disturbing incident that took place after an apparent act of intimidation by a resident who moved the chair of a residents daughter…while she was still in it!

A member of the Board volunteered to speak to the person who acted in this unseemly manner…

Pool personnel are not “Cabana Boys”….a statement made by a resident….they are highly regarded employees who are there to take care of the area…not there to move chairs, towels, umbrellas etc…

Stricter rules will be adhered to…as stated in the “Welcome To Sea Ranch” pamphlet.

Also, please remember not to leave purses or other valuables unattended in outside areas…just as you would at any public place.

I will not be at the next meeting…but will report the outcome of the Comcast decision the following week.
