Davie…5 years ago they made the residents a promise…the residents accepted…a tax increase…a $16.5 million bond….for new fire fire trucks, equipment and 2 fire stations….that was then…this is now…notta…nothing has been done…times are tough…budgets are in force and costs…well LBTS residents know about costs…ie…sewer…road improvements…now what…investigations…that’s what ….what was spent…what is left…how to “pare” down…should be yet another precautionary tale for LBTS …and any purchase of a public safety building…for the future…
Disabled gain easy access to Hollywood Beach…
what a great addition…there are even grants for this item if necessary…a product that allows those disabled or unsteady or even with strollers…to have access to the beach…artificial pathways called Mobi- Mats….a definite addition…worth looking into…congrads to Hollywood …a city that finally used their CRA for something good!

In this corner Broward Property Appraiser Lori Parrish…and in this corner…..the Palm Beach Appraiser… applications for portability… for those who moved from Broward to Palm Beach… in their infinite wisdom…Palm Beach clerks…feeling the the frustration of faxing not going thru…just piled them up and moved them out of their sight!….This is just the latest round for both appraisers…. the challenger for the Palm Beach Appraiser…must be smiling like a Cheshire cat!…

looks like Police chief Tmoney may have violated ethics laws when he failed to disclose his use of a Lexus…for free…now what will be the penalty …if any…from the Florida Commission of Ethics…
previously he did have to buy it for sticker…faced a fine ..from the Miami-Dade ethics committee…

might be easier to compare if a bill being considered by the state senate that would require pricing information from hospitals for 150 of the most commonly performed medical procedures are posted on a state website…. comes into play…
