if you recall at the 2nd meeting in Feb. the Mayor announced she would be attending and would give us all a full report upon her return…this did not sit well with her fellow commissioners…and at the next meeting fellow commissioners announced they would also be in attendance…as is proper…for the Mayor is not a single representative for the commission or the town… unless designated by the dais…she has equal standing in these situations…

a little- noticed proposal by the Broward Charter Review Commission could force a vote in November on creating a local commission to to write a code of ethics to regulate commissioner’s behavior….

internet users are living out their private moments through online forums….people getting the word out…some with purpose…some with ulterior motives…as stated in previous posts…the “comfort” of anonymity…. which is real or not… more examples of blog forums that is an ongoing experiment….

someone thought it would be great to “improve” things…result…what was easy…basic and took one “click” now calls for searching…and at least 3 “clicks…
reminds me of a story the bcbythesea hubby used to tell about his grandfather…
when the first digital watches came out….he looked at it…. as it was shown to him to marvel and admire….his response…”Oh great, now you have to use 2 hands to see what time it is!”…the first of these watches did indeed require the wearer to hold down a button to see the time!…
I know how he felt…
