So let me get this straight…after waiting and looking for some coverage of winning a third round at the polls…we get a Sun-Sentinel blog from Brittany Wallman on the first commission meeting with a new commission on the dais…a short piece…no background…titled as above …WOW! www.sunsentinel.com
I have not seen Ms.Wallman in eons…she had a surrogate at the meeting…Alexia Campbell….a few lines about civility…Vice Mayor Jerry McIntee saying the days of fingerpointing are over….and then what was the standout….not using names to address the dais…positive or negative…really folks!
Having found this point (brought to a vote at the organizational meeting ), introduced by the Vice Mayor ridiculous myself.. a comedy of sorts occurred…many in the audience were shaking their heads… after finishing the vote…5-0….4 members of the public…(myself included) voiced our disbelief and asked for it to be re-visited, (to no avail) the Town Clerk had the funniest line of the night….about how does she keep the minutes without any names!
After the meeting and as the days have gone by…I have not met anyone who does not think this was a blunder!

I am not privy to why this was introduced…but it should be re-visited….now!
