as in previous post… the cover girl…was none other than our Mayor Minnet…
Excellent photo by the Town/Times official photog. Marc Furth…who is finally…rightfully… getting his due. credit ..with each pic in each issue…
Also nice to see no more pics on the cover that are indistinguishable from issue to issue…
Included on pg. 3 a postcard from LBTS resident Hannah Hempstead…which brings many to ask “where can I get that”… she does sell them and T-shirts as well with the same great photo…inquire with the paper…maybe she will make her contact numbers available …
Finally… the VFD pictured on pg. 4…(oops spoke too soon…no Marc Furth mention…as he is also the official VFD photog…)

According to article BSO firefighter union is doing some dirty dealing in Tallahassee….to make it mandatory for towns to charge for BSO even if they don’t use the service!
I certainly hope the 3 commission members in Tallahassee this week …use the opportunity to show this editorial to the legislative bigwigs and voice LBTS objections!

Vice Mayor…I am disappointed in his view of the SRClub B fiasco…especially after he spoke to the building manager…and the hope he will join Comm. Dodd in keeping on the BSO to produce the 911 tapes…which he promised the manager of the building he would give a copy to…
Sad to hear BSO acted as bad as the Clinton White House upon turning over the reins…some 7 years back…

burnt toast column was a digrace to those who live at SRClub B …it was a farce of BSO propaganda….
I was told by the building manager that he would not comment to the paper…and informed them that he had written a letter to the Mayor…
but since the reporter’s husband is employed by the building…she could have been privy to first hand info from the guard on duty that night!
as in previous post…he was astounded last night by the report in this paper from BSO…..
NOTE:…isn’t it interesting how the time line varies from both papers…from those who were not here for the event itself… calls both into question on their “sources”…and which “sources”they chose to include in their articles…
funnier still…the Pelican quoting the Vice Mayor… on this issue…who would have thunk!
