ANOTHER VFD RESIGNATION….
ON THE RECORD …..
Battalion Chief Patrick Pointu has resigned as of Monday night…24 hours before the VFD were officially reinstated..The official line…on the record..he was the interim Administrator…and decided not to renew…also deciding to resign as Battalion Chief…going forth…
OFF THE RECORD….
This comes after the resignation of Ocean Rescue Coordinator Scot Fowler…and at least two others (there have been 6 resignations..and 15 fired) over the last months who have given reasons that are “off the record”…making it appear to this writer that one person is the reason for the resignations……..
As posted previously…what happens with the new LBTS-VFD…will rise and fall on Jerry McIntee …..
They have only been official for 36+ hours…..
