IS THE PETER PRINCIPAL AT WORK IN LBTS ?….PUN INTENDED!….

What is the Peter Principal?….

BCbythesea…has learned that the Director of Developmental Services…Frank Rabinowitz…is no longer employed by LBTS….

On the LBTS Town Website….under Town Directory….Staff Directory…

ACTING Developmental Director Jeff Bowman!….

No disrespect to Jeff Bowman…but what are his qualifications for this position….after so many years…in town..in various positions…such as Code Enforcement/Parking Enforcement?….

Unless she too is on the way out the revolving LBTS staff employee door….why would the Town Manager not place …the current Zoning and Compliance Supervisor …Tatiana Solvieva …on as Acting Director?….HMMM…

Was she not considered due to her mess-up on previous zoning approvals…such as the newly approved variance for a Bel Air swimming pool….or the rash of residents who have complained of her pre-variance application implications….to arbitrarily decide what would and would not pass…..

BCbythesea…previously posted …a post questioning the qualification of those holding staff positions in LBTS….

Are those employees currently placed in these positions in possession of the educational degrees and qualifying experience that are being advertised for potential job seekers?….

If not…why not?…

Is this a “side-effect”…of cutting the employee hours down from 40 hours?….

Does that change in “status” allow the Town Manager to hire those without the correct credentials?…

Answers need to be forthcoming….

The Town Manager herself…I have been told does indeed have the required credentials as required by the Town Charter…….if true…GREAT!….although this writer thinks her resume…and her staff employees resumes should appear …in biographies…….on the Town Website…for public information….

Also…the Town Manager is in charge of hiring and firing staff….but she should make these actions known to the Commissioners …as soon as they are implemented…
