ALL IS QUIET….ALL IS WINDY….
The restaurants are a 1/4 full….and the few out down by the square are holding on…to beat the whipping winds…
Was told that the Town had placed a picture on the Pavilion site……and responded..that I never saw it…but would take a look again……just as I thought…no rendering…just the same large sign of acknowledging the Broward County Commissioners for the grant…..although one Commissioner called to say…. the fasteners are still in sight…..the elusive picture though……????…get another one…ASAP!..
Heard Assistant Manager Olinzock is the BIG CHEESE…this week…as the Manager is off….
Looks like Oriana…will not need to respond to the Town for any questions or changes on their lighting…now that FPL is finally in town……the new lights are up and working in the new El Prado Park…the very same orange lights that are installed at Oriana….with the very same eye blinding effect!…Guess what’s good for the turtles…is not for pedestrians and drivers!…
Hope someone checks out the Commercial Blvd American Flags…just to see…that they are indeed the right size…per the Manager…they still look too small….and yes…the bases…are still painted white…
Heard from a long distance writer formally of the Times…he was left high and dry…no heads up…that the paper was changing hands…no response to e-mails…a real sorry way to treat a valued contributor who had such long standing with such a loyal fan base…another one bites the dust!…
