IS HE WAITING FOR MCINTEE TO RETURN?…..
BCbythesea…wonders if the Executive Director of the Florida Commission on Ethics…Phillip Claypool is secretly hoping that Futures Editor Mark Brown…has indeed decided to go one more round with McIntee and Silverstone and file another ethics complaint of conflict of interest with the VFD and the Commission….
Why…because Mr Claypool had to sit quietly at the last hearing on June 6th,2008…while McIntee presented his side of verbal conversations with Claypool….leaving Mr Claypool ” muzzled” …with no opportunity to respond to McIntees’s assertions….due to Florida ethic rules forbidding any new testimony to be introduced at this hearing….
Mr Claypool was also put in the position of reprimanding one of his employees….who although she may overstepped her duties…gave the same response to the press…( if the full quote is read…in the Futures…rather than the partial quote from the BTSTimes News Flash)…..that an “authorized” commission staff member would have provided…Mr Claypool has already has done so…in the Pompano Pelican….previous posts….
Mr Claypool was also required to respond to McIntee…and have his response go out in the “slanted” BTSTimes News Flash….
Seems …to this writer…..all the M & Ms…really accomplished with the latest McIntee “investigation” was to….
” Give an open invitation” to Mark Brown to follow through on another complaint….
Precipitate a reprimand or worse for a clerk at the Ethics Commission…
And to put McIntee….. front and center on Mr Claypool’s Ethics Complaint Charge……RADAR!…

BCbythesea…Maybe this “POTENTIAL” BROWN ETHICS COMPLAINT AGAINST MCINTEE AND SILVERSTONE….was THE REASON …. Mayor Minnet amended the 7/8/08 Regular Commission Meeting Minutes on the agenda for approval at the 7/22/08 Commission Meeting….to accurately include in the minutes….that McIntee was in attendance when the VFD went to negotiate with Sea Ranch Lakes which is evident on the recorded tape?……….HMMM…..
