Is it congested A1A traffic.?..The VFD Deputy Chief will bypass it…lights flashing…..kinda like being Obama!…
Stop signs on El Mar?… Roll on through for the VFD Deputy Chief….no stop required for this car with the lights!…
Stop sign on Washiingtonia?…left turn without a stop for the VFD Deputy Chief….it must say so in the Deputy Chief manual!…
Seat belts required said the VFD “Subordinate”Chief Perkins at the podium……not for the “Sub”Chief’s Chief-the Deputy Chief…..”Sub”-Chief Perkins can call it just one more on the long list of “the “Sub”Chief’s discretion!”……..
At the 2/10/09 Commission meeting the Vice Mayor/Deputy Chief-Vigilante on Patrol….said during Commissioner comments…… after lamely using his wife being called a “cockroach” as justification for his myriad of code enforcement actions…(although the time line doesn’t match)….”So that may be one of the reasons I,I look so carefully at violations in this town”…as he “combs” the streets day and night…in his Deputy Chief SUV….the designated Vigilante vehicle…..
But the problem is this……
Vice Mayor McIntee was elected to be a Commissioner ….
Deputy Chief McIntee was elected…(although it defied their VFD Constitution to do so)…to be the a Deputy Chief on a Volunteer Fire Department….
That’s it…that’s all he is …… a Commissioner and a Volunteer Fireman…
NOBODY ever….elected or appointed Jerry McIntee to patrol our town…as Chief Vigilante……NOBODY….
