8 ordinances will be addressed on 1st and 2nd reading this time around….

A quick peek…without the detail….which this writer will get from the “big book” in Town Hall on Monday…thanks to Ike taking a hike in direction….to find what is what…with changes…application fees..who will have final decisions on appeals….making it easier or more difficult to deal with the Town….if approved…

ARE THEY CRAZY?….TONE DEAF!….$$$$$$

We just finished with a $90+ thousand dollar expenditure from July 4th festivities…an event by all accounts that was attended mostly by non- residents…after the parade….

Next years event… should be put in Town Topics…. just as the doggy beach and the apparent “done deal” of the “McIntee Public Safety Youth Swimming Pool”… to see if the residents want a repeat…with this kind of a price tag attached…especially when other municipalities are either forgoing such events altogether orĀ  cutting them down in size and scope….

$4 thousand dollars for the Annual Halloween Party!….

Come on…BCbythesea…hears they want a 2 day event…why?….No Fireman’s Ball this year?….

The past Halloween party was for the kids…candy donated….kids…pretty much from out of town…and LBTS in this budget conscious time is going to spend $4 thousand on a party?….YIKES…

BEWARE OF THE “OFFICIAL” EVENT PLANNERS….$$$$$$…
