REALLY QUITE A STRETCH….

So as he blathered on with more of his exhausting diatribe on the dais……the Vice Mayor asserted that this writer was inundating the Town with Public Records Requests…NOT SO….just how do you stretch 7 Public Records Requests out …to add up to 68?….

Do you count the follow-ups…the copies sent to multiple recipients……which still only required 1 copy from the intended recipient?…Perhaps you include correspondence such as questions…answers…updates…pickup times…and thank yous?….

You decide…readers…you decide…if you figure it out…please let me know….

Checking on my saved e-mails…the only avenue I used for making the requests…these were the only Public Records Requests made…by this writer….

2- 9/16/08…….Copy forwarded to Patrick Pointu…unsure of correct e-mail recipient
3- 9/17/08……..Copy forwarded to Chief Perkins …after being told he was correct contact

16- 11/13/08…………Public Records Request…VFD website minimum course/Hipaa information/ Nov. VFD Meeting Minutes…(7TH REQUEST.)……copies to Chief Perkins/ Town Manager/ Town Atty.
17- 11/18/08…………Sent e-mail about denial of requests…copies to Chief Perkins/ Town Manager/ Town Atty./ Town Clerk
18- 11/20/08……….Response from June only/ sent thank you

19-11/20/08……..…Town Atty. Responded …about VFD/Town/ State Laws…we exchanged 3 emails…

20- 11/23/08 …..Re-sent in request per conversation with Chief Perkins…per his request…

21- 11/29/08……..…Sent e-mail “making my wishes known” for not wanting VFD training officer/ Vice Mayor McIntee in my homes on medical calls…copies to Chief Perkins/ Town Manager/Town Atty…
That is all the Public Records Requests…7 in total…
Anything else was…

So  just How did the Vice Mayor came up with 68 Public Records Requests made ?….HMMMM…
