THEY MIGHT PUT US ON THE MAP …. FOR THE RIGHT REASONS …
Were you one of the lucky recipients of the November 11, 2009 UOT Fundraiser invitation?… It was first rate!……WOW!… …It’s going to be the place to be to see the future of LBTS!… It’s at Athena By The Sea from 6-9pm….. and it will showcase Our Honorable Mayor Minnet, and the 6 candidates who have stepped forward to participate in this most important municipal election of March 9, 2010… From the north…Scot Sasser, Edmund Malkoon .and Beverly Kennedy…..and from the south…. Chris Vincent, Ben Freeny and John Oughten….
From the growing numbers of residents who say they are reading the local papers…who say they are reading this site and who say they watching what is going on around this town…it’s crystal clear there is again the desire for a big change on the dais in the next LBTS election!…
The Town Manager is willful and her “Broom Boys” McIntee and Silverstone are willfully ignorant!….
4 more years of this highly charged combination will further take us down the path we have have witnessed over the last year and ten months with the utter lack of transparency, and the unprecedented number of unilateral Town Manager decisions made on their watch!…
It will be a continuance of the Manager and McIntee “having each others back…as long as each is assured it’s hands off on her unilateral townwide decisions and hands of his VFD!
It guarantees fulfilling whatever McIntee wants ….We will see it immediately if the “Broom Boys” win re-election……It will be a replay of the purchase of the 2 million dollar crappy hotel……This time it will be the 3 million dollar firehouse….and the replacement of the BSO police…(the “love-fest seen now between the Manager-McIntee-Furth-CIC towards BSO police is pure political theater)…
What do you want in 2010?…
To see managed town government…or have town government manage you?…
Show your support for the future of Lauderdale- By- The- Sea…
Re-elect Mayor Minnet and elect 2 new commissioners to come with a real commitment to listen to the will of the people and a renewed sense of purpose on the dais to do the business of the town…
more to come…
