Here’s The Scoop … Duck … Duck … Duck …. Goose! …

DUCK TAPE …. WHEN THE QUACKS GET OUT OF CONTROL

“Ducks are sometimes confused with several types of unrelated water birds with similar forms, such as loons ”

Dear Readers … according to Vice Mayor McIntee, it’s open season on “anonymous” letters….. Vice Mayor McIntee decided to go after the Mayor on Dec. 8, 2009…. 43 years  earlier almost to the day, December 7, 1966…”Open season” came with an “anonymous” letter …  about a Probationary Patrolman …..  Is it for real?……That will be for others to decide just as the Vice Mayor asked  LBTS residents to decide about the Mayor’s occupation according to the incorporation documents he presented on the dais last Tuesday and accusations he again made in his Commissioner Comments in the new Mc-Furth BTSTimes …..

Now remember ….”You don’t have to read them”… “It’s your choice” … That’s what VM McIntee instructed the Commission at last Tuesday evening’s meeting ….. as he ended his 3rd or 4th “bite of the apple” for his new business item 16c. (prev. post)… in his all-out  effort to discredit the Mayor…along with his pals Commissioner “Not a nice guy” Silverstone  and Commissioner “Clueless” Clottey…

The readers of this post have the same choice…to read or not to read….

This writer will also not include names in the anonymous letter… and will use an alias that seems to fit the “bill”…pun intended!…

Letter #1 ….

Date 12/7/66

“To G.O.G.

Commissioner Of Police

From M.U.D.

Inspector

Subject: Probationary Patrolman Quack Quack

Sir:

Attached is a probationary evaluation report,  with accompanying explanatory P-84, from Captain K.X., Commanding Officer of the Police Academy, on Patrolman Quack Quack

This is the first time that any probationary patrolman has been so poorly rated, and, in the interest of the Department and of the public, that his actions be most carefully scrutinized and supervised.

To this end, we respectfully recommend that the Commanding Officer of the unit to which he is assigned be made aware of Patrolman Quack’s performance in the Academy.

We further recommend that a variance be made in the customary evaluation procedure, and that his new commanding officer be required to submit weekly or bi-weekly reports on the officer’s progress.

If a radical change is not noted in his attitude and behavior, we recommend that a special panel of Superior Officers be convened at the end of his first three month’s probationary period, to make recommendations as to his continuing service in the department.

Since he received his permanent appointment on October 27, 1966, his first three months of his probationary period will terminate on January 27, 1967.

Respectfully,

M.U.D.

Inspector”

Letter #2

” To G.O.G.

Commissioner of Police

From K.K.X.

Captain, Police Academy

Subject; Unsatisfactory Evaluation of Patrolman Quack Quack

ATTENTION: Inspector M.U.D. Division of Administration

Sir:

The evaluation of probationer (P.344) Patrolman Quack Quack. is marked unsatisfactory, the following is submitted to explain why,

This most general evaluation of Patrolman Quack, which rates him unsatisfactory is that throughout the three month recruit course, he has proven to be temperamentally unsuited for police work.

Patrolman Quack has demonstrated a basic immaturity, as demonstrated by the following: (1) Playing with his handcuffs during lectures given by the F.B.I.  (2) Constantly stating to the lecturers that have just said “___” when in fact only Mr.Quack heard this statement. (3) When it was called to Patrolman Quack’s attention, that while in uniform he went through a stop sign, he replied “that is not too bad.” (4) Patrolman Quack, stated in his personal history sheet that he is a “fire buff”. Since he has been in class, we have had four reports of his appearing at fire scenes while off duty. (5) He lost his police folder after a few days in class. (6) His personal car was tagged for illegal parking, he then walked into Precinct #4 and threw the tag on the desk and asked” how do you fix this?” (7) He has officially reported sick twice since being appointed. (8) When class notebooks were inspected Patrolman Quack’s was by far the worst, and he did not even submit the free notebook given to him by the State of P.A. although the recruits were all instructed this was the official notebook to be used. (9) When various minor violations of the rules have been brought to Patrolman Quack’s attention, his attitude has been disrespectful, especially to Det. Sgt. Hptt. (10) Rumors concerning Patrolman Quack, have come to the attention of the academy, but can not be verified, however, it certainly proves that already, Patrolman Quack’s reputation has preceded him throughout the department. (11) He is belligerent in class, attempts to correct the instructor in a loud and insulate manner.

Respectfully K.K.X.

Captain”
