Dear Readers….When hiring personnel to staff the Town Hall…it seems to this writer that first order of business would be to make sure they know the correct names of the elected officials in town and that of the Assistant Town Manager!
In a series of memos sent to the Commissioners and Administration on 8/20/09…the Town Manager signed off on some new names indeed!…OOPS!…

An additional OOPS!…the response to Comm. Dodd’s question #5…(in scan above)… A question pertaining to a $35,000 checking account for the VFD Beach Patrol that was opened up by the Town on July 14, 2009…(more on this to come)…
“5) Is there a list available with all the accounts held at Sun Trust or any other bank and their current balances- is this a report that is normally produced monthly by Sun Trust for the Finance Director?”
“Response: Monthly bank statements are received by BANK and reconciled.”…No wonder the figures are hard to get!….YIKES!
