Here’s The Scoop/ BSO Accuses SRC B Of Theft

Further info on the Fri. early morning Sea Ranch Club B mess up… and what a mess it is!

We have a $100 thousand dollar alarm system which was approved by the Fire Marshall…met the code ….and was not required to tie in with the alarm company…(who would then contact 911)….because we are a 24/7 security building….

Actually our guard and manager were faster calling 911 than if it was a tie in…

The manager and a guard went to the 15th floor…checked to see what was going on….

were told it was not burnt toast by the apartment owner …smelling smoke….called down to the guard at the front to call 911….

the manager and the guard proceeded to check doors for heat on that 15th floor….

at least 2 calls to 911 were made….

The problem….folks….is with 911 dispatch!

the person on the other end …at 911 …. who dropped the ball!

tapes must be played to show what transpired…. so this never happens again….

as stated previously…after BSO fire leaves 9/30/08…..

BSO is still in charge of 911 for both AMR and the VFD!

follow up…..

incredibly…..our alarm system has not had a finalized permit by Broward County…

because the speakers in each unit were upgraded from the plans….

rather than let us submit an addendum with the specifics…as would be the norm….they refused the plans….

we have just been contacted by the county….we will be required to start the permit process over!….This is suspect…. smacks of something?

As reported in a previous post….our building manager was accused by the female paramedic of harassment when he filled her in upon her arrival and then asked where they had been….

as an observer that night….it did not happen….

the next day a BSO detective came with a complaint about this alleged incident….

today…another detective from BSO came and accused our building of stealing items off their truck…and took our building’s tape from that early morning!….YIKES!!!!

As the manager has said…..

anyone wants to blame him…the alarm…the guards…..go ahead…..

but take care of the problem….911….before a real tragedy occurs!
