911…tape…really a cassette…
yes …definitely antiquated….. just like the BSO back-up service when the Broward County computer aided system is down!
It just keeps getting worse …
the response for the requested 911 records …1 cassette with call from an apartment in Sea Ranch Club B…from a daughter…her mother…and the call center personnel…that the listener of said cassette sounded like “Who’s On First”…
No record of thee calls from the Building Manager…the guard…and the third person on terminal hold with Operater #28…a Building B Board Member!
Are we ever going to find out the truth?
Bcbythesea has been informed…a phoney 911 call is a felony….
Therefor…it only makes sense that every call center employee should be taught first….
to treat all 911 calls as real!…..no questioning to the contrary should take place….
if in fact a call is eroneous….charge the caller with that felony!
The 911 call from the apartment was the concern of a daughter with her mother not being able to descend down the stairs on her own…16 flights…
The alarm is set up to announce that the elevators may not be used….
The listener of the tape inquired to how a person in such condition would make it down in a real fire?….a visit to the Manager….brought this response…that the management and security know who is in each unit and upon the fire fighters…”speedy” response…the management and security would alert them to the occupant…. and the firefighters would then decide how to have them exit the building…all in accordance with standard operating procedure for any fire in a high rise…
Further reason why…if this had been an actual fire….the investigation might have been front page news and cable TV round table discussion…instead of who is covering their backs….
Answers still need to be obtained….
