he was a developer friendly attorney who represented a developer who came before the previous commission…so strike him out….
no more RFPs… the Manager wanted to get her team together and move on….
Tuesday evening the Weiss firm came to what appeared to be a done deal….
brought forth the replacement for Mr Gabriel….the dismissed candidate……by the Vice Mayor…and now past Special Magistrate….
a new guy steps forward…young and boyish…
Dan Abbott…LBTS new Town Attorney….
voted in 3-2…the Town Manager’s recommended choice…the Vice Mayor made sure to add that point into the minutes…
2 days later… I decide to Google….Dan Abbott…Florida Attorney…

1st Google….Hollywood..City Attorney…advised convicted former Commissioner Keith Wasserstrom on how to fill out the forms that led to his conviction…. advised him… saw no conflict…

Comm. Dodd and Clottey were correct to ask for more RFPs… they needed a 3rd Commissioner to join them….
