The Times has sent out a News Flash…
Editor of the Futures paper… Mark Brown came as requested by the Town Attorney…
he did not come forth with any answers though….
the Times sees this as “taking the 5th”…and a negative…ignorance for this response and thinking he was duty bound to appear…requiring legal counsel…..they conclude…
BCbythesea…. has a different take …just as he was correct not to speak at the podium at the last commission meeting…due to any possible pending lawsuit….
he may have been counseled to do exactly what he did in this meeting….show up in good faith…offering nothing….without legal counsel by his side….
If the future predictions of these suits…. do indeed pan out …with several parties pursuing a variety of legal actions…..
so far… Mr. Brown…..has made smart moves…on his part…nothing said in a heated moment or caught off guard can be used against him…
Whether legal action will proceed …remains to be seen….
