Commission needs to question Town Clerk…any changes made after the last batch of approved minutes…as BCbythesea was informed of…what type…did they require a re- vote?….
Also…please inquire…public notices… ie…commission meetings…are they posted in another publication…not Sun-Sentinel?….is that not required?…….

Beach equipment…amending section 5-34 of the code….where it should and should not be on the beach….

used to be …no commission approval required under a certain $ amount…so why is this “bloated” agenda…including such purchases for approx. $2000-5000…$11000?
If this is to answer the “buried” Washingtonia sidewalks… that’s great…
a better way to present it….would be to have a sub-heading of all such items under one than interspersed throughout agenda…

strange job for the Pompano Beach Town Attorney…any conflict?…How do Pompano residents feel about it?….
It was sprung on the commission along with Mr Abbott…no discussion…no other attorneys to choose from….
Jarvis Hall enclosure… should be a goner……finally…the people were heard!
Public Hearings…
variance for Tiki Hut…which is really a Tiki Bar…on property in BelAir…approved by Board of Adjustment…even though it was “dismissed” board…
“hardship” was found to be “pie shaped” lot…
BCbythesea…a future agenda item…get rid of the “required hardship” for variances…they are a joke of convenient interpretation……

March elections…Vice Mayor McIntee…
BCbythesea…is changing previous stance on this one…with the win this new majority had…and Pompano Beach to vote in Nov. elections…it does not seem fiscally responsible…or a necessity for the underdogs to win anymore….
New Board members…needed …some turned down their appointments…varying reasons…
no time to serve/ not the Board they wanted/ and the financial statement form sent out…that was not required of volunteers not serving on P&Z/Bd. of Adj…..
BSO response time… Comm. Dodd…will be addressed at BSO reports…
Community Performing Arts Contract…Vice Mayor McIntee…
The agreement should be null and void…due to an “end- game” introduction of extending the contract by the ousted majority …and the non- use on a reserved time period…without proper notification to the town…and costs incurred…to have such an agreement in these budget conscience times….
