a real estate agent….who is going to the Democratic Convention as a delegate for Hillary Clinton!

Ms. Bird ….had a house party for Senator Clinton…. recently….

(the reader pointed out…Ms Bird lives in Lake Estates …does not live near the beach…Google map… it’s west of Federal….)

“We’re one step closer to bringing the Calypso project that will provide clean burning natural gas to meet Florida’s increased fuel needs by….2007.”

BCbythesea…opinion… Suez will receive the same final impact statement…again…. when the dust dies down…post election….

2004… City of Hollywood gave approval for AES- Tractebel for pipeline from the Bahamas…

2004…Gov. Bush asked for a delay due to the amount of pipelines…impact on the coral reefs..possible construction problems…if pipelines were not completed….

A look at the above sites will also show just how many pipelines are in the works all over the country….

It will be built….just a matter of time…and place…

BCbythesea hears… the development office dropped the ball on this one…and this is the clean-up….

(after a resident from the north….had a “run-in”  with the development…administrative staff of LBTS… that led to the development office staff to have a BSO officer in attendance for a meeting with this resident’s wife…previous post…commission meeting….)

apparently this resident was having a problem with code enforcement…and obtaining a variance…and inquired about the pool…

this led to this …”mistake” by development …and this variance…in public notices…

BCbythesea….question…will there be a full Board of Adjustment Board to hear this variance?….

at the 5/27/08 commission meeting …the Town Clerk informed the commission…2 were needed to replace BOA nominees that declined…will be addressed at 6/11/08 commission meeting…

They are organized…they are connected…the have a cause…

to stop this port/pipeline from being in their backyard…

Community activists …led by Linda Bird…president of the Improvement Assoc. of Lake Estates…

Friday 6/13/08….thousands of home/condo owners will have a mass-mailing to elected officials to stop this project …they believe is so dangerous…

They say they represent 100,000 households…

they have help with political connections…previous posts…. commissioners…mayors…candidates…Representatives…from both sides of the aisle…

As expected those who making the informed final environmental impact statements…from the U.S. Coastguard…are keeping a low profile…

Let the games…begin…

will be having their regular commission meetings….

on very day….LBTS should be having theirs…. JUNE 10th!

Yet despite being informed by this writer … last week….that it is not a Jewish holiday… that calls for government to stop…

just as the last meeting in April…was not…

Once again the administration showed stubbornness… “black and white” bureaucracy …

and incompetence… they were unwilling to correct this blunder….

management in the administration needs an overhaul….

the current “system” is not working…

it has caused…..

the kitchen to be padlocked…

paperwork requirements to be excessive…

lack of coordinating board meetings… workshops…

lack of answers from those who work under the Town Manager…

the commission meetings to be stopped or moved…

business to lose revenue…

residents to lose their Friday night music…

commissioners to be accountable to staff time lines and demands…rather than the other way around….

something’s gotta give!….

It’s time commissioners…..

Commissioner Dodd will save LBTS…$557,000 dollars!

Pompano Pelican…

Pompano Beach agrees to hire company to revise their zoning codes….for $557.000 over two years…Comm. Dodd at the 5/27/08 commission meeting….stated his intention to have the new LBTS P&Z Board address our recently repealed Overlay Districts and revise town zoning…for new development in the future….

Pompano Beach will join Fort Lauderdale in a Resolution opposing the gas pipeline…

They will meet on June 10th…the infamous Jewish Holiday LBTS is alone in observing…the holiday most Jews are not even aware of…..(previous post)…
