‘Plastic Bags into Purses
MONDAYNOVEMBER 10, 2008 – The PLAZA SOUTH womens club started a class teaching how to make grocery bags into crochet purses! Due to the overwhelming popularity of this class – the BEACH COMMUNITY CENTER (3351 NE 33rd AVENUE in FORT LAUDERDALE) volunteered to host these free classes. The first class will be on NOVEMBER 10, 2008 at 10:00 AM – 12:30 PM. More than 100 women have called with interest. Since the class as currently configured can only accomodate 50, they are going to reassess how much space is needed for future classes and determine what days will be available to accommodate class needs. The three teachers are Joan Campana, Marina Decker, and Shirley Oberg. ITS FREE, ITS GREEN AND ITS VERY COOL!
