New town manager steps in
By Melissa Hoyos Staff Writer | May 20, 2007
There’s a new town manager in Lauderdale-by-the-Sea — and her intent is to work with commissioners to bring the seaside community of 7,000 people closer together. Esther Colon, the town’s seven-year finance director, recently was unanimously selected to replace longtime Town Manager Robert Baldwin, who resigned May 6. Colon, 53, said she plans to work alongside commissioners to improve the town and finish ongoing projects.”
