Here’s The Scoop … BIG CHIEF McIntee?…

BIG CHIEF OF THE VFD ….

Dear Readers… We hear tonight that Vice Mayor McIntee, the current Deputy Chief of the VFD ….. has decided to run for VFD Fire Chief !

The VFD elections are on Monday December 14th…

We hear that current Chief Perkins is quite upset at the turn of events…But why?… We all know that Jerry McIntee has been the de-facto Chief!

Will McIntee do the right thing this time around and obey the VFD By-laws by resigning his position as Vice Mayor, prior to becoming Chief?.. That would be a start in right direction…

As Chief of the VFD McIntee will automatically be a board member and he will not be able to sidestep his conflict of interest with purchasing as he has in his role as Deputy Chief.

As Chief he would absolutely have a voting conflict remaining on the dais…

If he is the Chief and remains on the dais…the state would need to give an opinion, unless he has already received one, as he did in 2008  although his declarations were not honest, in this writer’s opinion.

Perhaps this is all a ruse and he has someone else in mind…in order to throw Chief Perkins under the bus…for Perkin’s big mouth out of earshot of McIntee over the past months (prev. post)?..

Whatever, it is…….it’s certainly the hot topic in town….. and it comes right on the heels of  his despicable behavior toward the Mayor at the Commission meeting last night ….witnessed and universally agreed upon as a new low in LBTS politics!…
