“On EMS assistance calls such as suicides, Gun Shot wound’s etc.. when instructed by dispatch, or by a LBTS-VFD officer, responding members shall remain outside and away from the immediate scene until law  enforcement arrives and has requested assistance.”

“Always make sure that the scene is safe. Your safety comes first.”

“Do not approach any unsafe or questionable scene until the police have approved our entry.”

” Plan, Observe, and React on all scenes.”

The Town Clerk’s office asked me to let you know the Town does not have any updated bylaws from the VFD after 10-1-08.

  1. For the record, Chief Perkins is in receipt of our request / demand that McIntee NOT BE ALLOWED on our premises for a fire or medical call. Other residents have made this request verbally to no avail. We suggest, however, that all residents with the same opinion also let their wishes be known in writing to Chief Perkins.
