PROJECT VFD …. YOU’RE OUT!… “AUF WIEDERSEHEN” DEPUTY CHIEF…

We hear the Vice Mayor/ Deputy Chief returned last week and found out for himself…. the rumors are true!…His days as a VFD Officer are numbered! ….. He started too many “fires” in the department!….We hear the demotion should coming sooner than usual…….Stay strong  and united VFD members….the whole Town is behind you!….. You’ll be Heroes!…..

NO JUSTIFICATION PAGES….NO RFPS….NO STAFF JOB OPENINGS…… JUST  P.R….

A look at the Town website shows …NO  2009-10 Budget Justification pages added to the Budget…No RFPS (next one due on 8/27)…NO job openings for Code Enforcement Officer (Cam Parker is leaving)…NO job opening for Municipal Works … ( Secretary is exiting)…Just jobs open for a Mc-pool life guard/ karate instructor …salary negotiable…

But they made sure to include a  link to the Sentinel (prev. post  http://heresthescooponline.com/) to tout the town not raising taxes!…Hmmmm….

THE “WIZARD” WAS NOT IN …… COME BACK ANOTHER TIME ….

OOPS!…We hear the Town was left a little chagrined on Wednesday August 20th…when those with tickets assembled in Jarvis Hall for the Special Magistrate found out after a half hour of waiting…. the LBTS Special Magistrate Gordon Linn was out of Town!…

The Assist. Town Manager “did a little song and dance” and told those who were summoned to come back at a later date…YIKES!…

All Town Boards were canceled for August….

YOU CALL THAT BEAUTIFICATION? …. SORRY CHARLIE!……

The notoriously empty Mc-Furth Gang special “BEACH PARKING PERMIT ONLY’ spaces for their CIC pals…have big red lettered stencils on the curbs in the El Prado parking lot  and in front of El Prado Park…saying “PERMIT ONLY”….tacky …tacky…tacky… Can we make an Anonymous/ Resident  Citizen Contact Center Form complaint?….
