After a month …as acting Director…Jeff has now stepped into the position…permanently…

He will have a lot on his plate this new budget year…with ordinances being addressed…to conform with the times…codes being tweaked…for right of ways..swales…and 3 over 1…currently not allowed…
This writer called Jeff to inquire…if a resident or developer came in today to the development office…would they be allowed to build 3 over 1 anywhere in town…he said “no”…
The voters did vote for 3 over 1…..and many residents feel the repeal of the Overlay Districts should have applied to the setbacks but not to the 3 over 1 decision….this will be a “Hot Potato” for the dais to deal with ….
Jeff also answered the question of the variance Wings is asking for with their signage…previous Public Notices post…it is for a large sign above their front door and a large sign between the 2nd and 3rd floor facing north…currently no signage is allowed not in front of an establishment..
