Dear Readers…in a previous post…this writer wrote of a lone reader who may or may not be an ex-reader due to the Obama/Biden- McCain/Palin….posts… a reply ….was sent to the reader …doing exactly what I posted the CIC should have done when Comm. Dodd asked for a sabbatical…..(train wreck posts…scoop category)…I welcomed the reader back at anytime…(he mentioned he might return in 09…after Obama is President)…..and ….since he said he would miss the LBTS/SRC posts…told him he could still get them by timing the dates of the meetings…with going directly to the categories… hope this works for him…and any other readers…feeling the same….

Now back to politics…

The BCbythesea Son-In-Law….asked me today…if I enjoyed the new Batman Movie …..my response was “not really”…and his response to my response was one of puzzlement…and the obligatory “why not?”….

Here’s why not….for some time now…. action movies seem to be a compilation of previous movies made… watched by the director of this new movie…emulating those directors they watched in their youth…paying homage to them…thrilling those who did not see the originals…and leaving those who have….. less than thrilled…watching each “throwback” pieced together….

Being less than thrilled…we are “chastised” for not getting it…and relegated to being too old…too staid…and too out of touch……. for not “feeling” the energy……for not going along for the “ride”….

In this same vein… for those of us who watched the Obama Denver speech…(and some leading up to it)…and felt that same “compilation”…that same emulation…the homage to the originals….the “chastising”…has begun….too old…too staid…too out of touch…for not “getting” it…..for not “feeling” the energy…..for not going along for the “ride”….HMMM………
