IF FAY COMES OUR WAY…..

Publix now has a huge new generator installed…it will be “inaugurated”…with this one….if the power goes out…and supplies of food etc…should be plentiful…no need to hoard….

Last time…with Wilma….Publix was outstanding without the generator…with is…what a plus for the town….

Sea Ranch Building B…took care of our problem with the back-up generator problem being inside the garage area….so we should maintain…elevator service…and electric in the common area…as the other 2 buildings….

VFD will be around …if we are in need…..along with BSO Fire…still our primary service until Oct…..

Remember new Broward County policy…no ice distribution…

The LBTS Hurricane supplies are ready…along with the plan….by the Town Manager and staff….

Scott Gooding is in charge for BSO  Police….

One big area of concern….as we approach what may be our first big storm ….in quite some time…MINTO!….

With the huge mound of dirt right across from Town Hall…bordering A1A……could cause major road blockage….

The construction sites…all around El Mar….and on Seagrape….

According to Channel 10 news….it is the company’s responsibility…. to prepare….

We will be watching Minto and Tenex…. ….if the “cone”  includes our area….

This may be the final season…for “Rabbit ears”…and those battery operated T.Vs….after the Feb. 2009…switch from analogue… will make both obsolete….

Readers may want get a few FCC converter boxes to have on hand…if the cable is down ….but the electric is on…
