Loser…..The Governor….guess his new “buddy” wasn’t that high on the list after all…..pulling those strings….
Winner….Marc and Cristie Furth….doing what they do best….”it’s in the details”……for this 4th event….
Loser….Heard the former “detail” person from last year’s 4th…is asking for a refund of…her July 4th donation….since it did not come with raffle ticket freebies….
Winner….CIC and non CIC volunteers who came to Jarvis Hall….to lend a helping hand….
Loser…..non-CIC members…..who stay away….not turning the other cheek…..missing out….
Winner…..52 inch plasma T.V. for the Grand Prize Raffle……….will be turned back if “won” by a 4th of July committee member….
Loser…..The former Mayor Pro-Tem…who won and kept the flat screen …last year……….
Winner…the kids…with decorated bikes….and a plethora of choices at the kiddie amusement park….
Loser….those “elected officials”…who join the Vice Mayor….to be dunked…
Winner….free parking for all……..
Loser….if the Parking enforcement patrol…jumps the gun…and begins ticketing too soon….
Winner….The Town Manager….who presented the town with the “United We Stand” sign at the entry to El Prado Park…
Loser….Sea Ranch Lakes…..for not joining in the funding for the event this year….
Winner….Commissioners…Clottey and Dodd….for taking on this event….right out of the gate….as “newbies” on the commission….
Loser….The Mayor….for having her “secretary” call to find out the “logistics”….for where she would be in parade…..
Winner….The POA…for their “Hometown Hero” award….being anyone…in LBTS…..
Loser…..The CIC…..for allowing CIC members only to choose…a CIC member for their “Citizen of the Year” award….
Loser….The CIC….for making a special exemption for a local editor and his wife….and including them 3x in their letter to their members to vote on…providing a hint of an unfair advantage….and a “knowing nod”…who should be “chosen”….

Winner….The VFD….at the front of the parade….. strong in the number of personnel…….with a new red truck….
Loser….Former BSO Sheriff Ken Jenne….on his way to a half-way house….without a white horse

Loser…..BSO/Fire &EMS….couldn’t make it on time….couldn’t find it…….or it wasn’t stated in their contract?…..
Winner….. Peggy and Aruba….for helping with the food and the music…for the Friday events….
Loser…..Athena…for excluding the town’s 4th celebration…. in their publicizing…by only sending out their own Sat/Sun night events……..
