two other interesting points made by the reader…..
AMR served Davie as an interim until Davie could get their own fire/rescue/ EMS up and running….the town doubled in size after the contract was signed and AMR added a 4th vehicle at no increase in cost to Davie….
on the flip side…..most disturbing….
The Mayor questioned the VFD about plan to fight high rise condo fires….this line of questioning brought forth an unexpected revelation …..
BSO refused to hare with the VFD their plans for condo high rise fires….
The Manager reported that BSO told her the information would be provided on 9/30/08….at the end of the contract!
