Citing a construction slowdown, a garbage hauling firm says it no longer needs to increase the height of its dump in Broward…
in previous posts…Waste Management was asking to increase its landfill… it was opposed by the towns….
also it is reported that technology will be able to reduce or eliminate landfills altogether in the future…

A resident of LBTS had her wallet stolen right out of her purse at the Dollar Store in Fort Lauderdale Monday afternoon.
The perpetrator came up alongside her as she was busy at a store shelf…the purse was zipped and right under her arm close to her armpit…

Dockswell Wins Big In Pompano Beach

Looks like the voters in Pompano Beach were paying attention after all…….wanted a change in the status quo…incumbent Kay McGinn…..did not heed the endorsement of the Sun- Sentinel…they voted for Dockswell in the beach area yesterday to represent them as their new Commissioner!
Smart move Pompano Beach….Congratulations!
