Public Notice

For the first time in a long time…a public notice for invitation to bid from LBTS…..
Sealed bids for landscape maintenance service agreement…project consists of furnishing equipment,labor,and materials for the electrical services  for electrical equipment and systems specified in the contract documents. RFP 08/03/01….until3/20/08 which will then be publicly opened and read.
Glad to see a bid…wonder [...]

After reading the opinion piece from Mr. Thompson in this mornings Sun-Sentinel, I feel compelled to take it a little further….
Does anyone really pay attention to endorsements, from papers?
I guess the answer would be …yes if you were endorsed or your candidate was endorsed and a resounding no if you were on the other side [...]

John Thompson has persevered and finally had the opinion piece he sought to have published right after the election published.
He has written about the newspaper’s role in endorsing candidates…presenting the facts and making sure those facts are accurate.
Case in point, the Sun-Sentinel publishing the “facts” of a volunteer EMS…no such “volunteer” EMS service exists.
